Halle & David | The Old Mill | Forever Lucky Films

This wedding was a blast. First time I've seen a motorized cooler utilized in a wedding and that takes planning, so you know this was a run planned affair.  The simple elegance of the Old Mill and the fun bunch that filled the place was my inspiration for Halle and David's film.

Radnor Wedding | Maureen + Brandon | Forever Lucky Films

Maureen and Brandon's wedding started at Maureen's childhood home, a victorian situated in the heart of Mantua and ended up across the river at the Radnor Hotel. Maureen asked me if I could use David Gray's, Please Forgive Me. No problem. The song hit the right chord for the day and when friends and family hit the dance floor I switched to an uptempo remix it take it out.

Branford House | Nazia & Faisal | Forever Lucky Films

We've shot in few places as strikingly beautiful as the Branford House. Just looking at the location on Google maps I knew it was going to be a treat. Set on the UConn campus and overlooking the Long Island Sound the Branford house is a tribute to the guilded age; large stone buildings, rich dark woods inside and a great lawn spilling over to the great sea.

Nazia and Faisal's wedding was an emotional and colorful experience. Aided by family, things ended up going perfectly and I felt lucky to be there. You'll see what I mean from the video.

South Jersey Wedding | Shannon & Michael | Forever Lucky Films

Tom, our trusted and creative shooter took was behind the camera for these images.  After watching some of the footage I had this idea to combine Richard Wagner's Prelude and Sleigh Bell's Tell 'Em, two songs I love.  Tom must have been reading my mind when shooting as it's a perfect fit for his footage.

Philadelphia Wedding | Jackie + Rob | Forever Lucky Films

This was a party. I'm sure if there was 7 hours of dancing you would have had 7 hours of dancers. Jackie and Rob joined a growing list of Pitt and PSU marriages. Rivals schools on the field, but partners for life. Check out some of their highlights here. It was great to work with Jenna Stamm as well.

And don't forget to friend us on Facebook for studio updates, videos and fun stuff we're watching and listening too.

Faisal's Entrance from Groton CT

Here is a short clip from Nazia and Faisal's wedding held at the Branford House in Groton Connecticut.  This scene marks Faisal's entrance  into a traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony - on horseback.

Here are a few screenshots from yesterday, while I get back to editing.  Some more footage coming soon.

Karen + Kevin

It's going to be one hot summer and I'm looking forward to it after the long cold winter. We kicked off the wedding season in Philadelphia at Karen & Kevin's wedding at the Downtown Club. Although hot and humid outside, inside there was a different type of warmth. Kevin was overcome with emotion seeing Karen walk the aisle. It was really an amazing moment considering he already seen her in the dress during pre-ceremony photos.

Here are some of the highlights.

Natalie + Matt

Natalie and Matt where married two days into the new year and they kicked 2010 off with a bang. Both braved the bitter cold temps to make sure they had some outdoor shots before the sun set.

Natalie has a company that creates Flipbooks for wedding guests in only a couple minutes. It's a great process and worth checking out if you're looking for a great keepsake to give your guests. Her site is Go Festive.

I incorporated that into her wedding video. You can watch it here.

Catching Up

It's been a few weeks since my last posting. It's hard to believe that November is here and the season is coming to an end. It's going to be a busy winter with a bunch of commercial projects along with a few weddings sprinkled in there. Since I last time I've been editing non-stop and posted a bunch of projects, not including one I'm rendering as I type.

Kerrin + John

They are such an amazing couple with a great eye for good photography. I'm thrilled they choose me to film their big day. They were looking for a fun but elegant wedding film and I think we nailed it. Check it out here.

Julie + Matt

It's fitting that I'm posting Julie and Matt's video with Kerrin & John's. Both days were blessed with great weather and a lot of dancing - non stop dancing. Knownlton Mansion in Philadelphia is a perfect spot. A little piece of tranquility in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the cities crowded streets; all the energy involved comes with a invitation.

Meredith + Rob

Meredith and Rob provided a great way to spend a portion of labor day weekend. I've always found that there is a bit less dancing at early weddings, but that wasn't the case here. You couldn't pull them off the dance floor.

Calli + Seth

Appleford estate is chock full of great spots for photos and a beautiful setup for an outdoor wedding. Calli and Seth had a beautiful day and are a fun and gracious couple.

Dollface Studios handled photography brilliantly. You can see some of their pics on their site (link on the bar to the right). Enjoy the video!

Ashley + Kevin

I worked with Ashley on creating a beautiful wedding video, but since I was booked already I was only able to edit it. I work with some great shooters and the footage they take is always beautiful.

Ashley picked out the song and Dave Matthews was a great choice and will only enhance their connection to the video. All the images in the intro are video captures from the HD video; an extra benefit for having xposedfilm capture your wedding.

Enjoy!

Deanna + Steve

Deanna and Steve's wedding took place at the beautiful Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, PA. I had never been there but it is a great place for a wedding. I was especially fond of the courtyard where the ceremony was held.

Denna and Steve were great fun and very laid back. All their guests had a blast. Photography was done by the two Jessicas over at Paired Images.

Steve was fond of the timelapse footage so I did a few different versions for them.
