Normandy Farms Wedding - Logan & Brian - Blue Bell, PA

To Logan, a professional figure skater, grace is all in a days work. It's to no great surprise that both she and Brian move gracefully from frame to frame, while I rolled tape. Rain hit the area and hit hard, just as we were warming up. Photographer, Tyler Boye, knowing the area, found outside shots under cover - problem solved

Check out some of the remarkable highlights from Logan and Brian's big day, as well as Logan's poetic vows.

Faisal's Entrance from Groton CT

Here is a short clip from Nazia and Faisal's wedding held at the Branford House in Groton Connecticut.  This scene marks Faisal's entrance  into a traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony - on horseback.

Here are a few screenshots from yesterday, while I get back to editing.  Some more footage coming soon.

Special Pricing + Lucky Man

We're going to be offering some new pricing options around August 1st. That's when we move into our new office. The goal is stay closer to home. I love hitting the road for weddings and visiting new areas, but with the addition of twins this winter I'll be aiming to reduce the miles a bit.

Until then 9(actually August 11) we're offering $250 off any package for weddings held at in Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

I'll let you today with Lucky Man from the Verve. Everyone knows Bittersweet Sympathy, I hear it all the time at wedding, but if you're not familiar with the album it's awesome all the way through. Lucky Man and The Drugs Don't Work especially prove that The Verve were much more than a one-hit wonder.

Be Like the Squirrel Girl

Life gives you more than you can handle sometimes and you cross your fingers things planned stay planned and rouge waves carry rather than knock you down. With a wedding on the banks of Lake Champlain in Vermont on Friday night and another a cool breeze distance from the shores of New Jersey Saturday, along with a meeting and a Studio Opening in two short weeks, I approached last weekend with great trepidation only for the 1000 miles or so of driving and the traffic may greet me.

When times like this roll-on-through I call on The White Stripes for guidance.

Thankfully once in every 800 years or so we're gifted with a July containing 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. Awesome, if you're school aged child wishing to slow time in the summer. Equally, beautiful and yet formidable as a wedding videographer. I'm pretty sure we're shooting more July weddings this summer than the past 3 combined.

For the three this past weekend, imperfect weather was upstaged by adventurous spirit, efficient planning with a dozen hours of footage to prove weather need not be the biggest worry for a couple on their wedding day. In a couple days I leave for Vermont to film on the banks of Lake Champlain only to return to shoot again along the shores of the Atlantic on Saturday. Busy enough for you. But wait there's more.

After shooting up near Mystic Connecticut we'll be getting the keys to our new studio in Berlin. This is going to be a space, to shoot, meet and show off all that we've done and work on new and exciting projects. There's going to be a lot of white space and we'll be working on the gallery end of it in the coming months. For all of my photography friends as well as painter and sculptures, drop me a email; we'd love to display your work and sell a few pieces as well.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Karen and I just found out twins are on the way. I'm pretty sure what I consider busy now will be changing at the close of 2011. I'm thankful July's like this happen only once every 800 years.

Anne & Scott

I had a nice string of perfect weather days. Scorching heat and overwhelming humidity gave way to cooler temps and mostly blue skies. Anne and Scott's mainline wedding marked the last of those days. The Gulph Mills Golf Club offers a relaxed and open space, from the old colonial style clubhouse to the large outdoor space leading seemlessly to rolling hills and sunset skies.

I've shot Bryn Mawr Presbyterian a number of times before. The space is big, the restrictions are plenty but the opportunity for classic ceremony footage is there. Classic summed up the day brilliantly, from the elegant dress to the traditional style tuxedo the only thing missing was an explosive sunset.

Then it happened. For five minutes the sky turned red and that classic shot was captured. Some days just go perfect.
